The user and workspace this connection acts as, and whether it can write.

Every active space in the workspace, with its id, name, icon and description. Archived spaces are left out.

One space, with how many live and trashed pages it holds, and whether it is archived (read-only).

The page hierarchy of a space as { tree, truncated }: nested nodes (id, title, type: page | folder | whiteboard, childCount, children). At most 2,000 nodes, nearest levels first; when truncated is true, call it again with parentId (a folder) and depth to see further down. Use it to find pages and parents.

A page with its content as Markdown. Whiteboards return their written text and element count; folders return their children.

Full-text search across page titles and content in the workspace, best matches first. Archived spaces are searched only when spaceId names one.

The most recently edited pages in the workspace (or one space), newest first.

The comment threads on a page, oldest first, each with its replies.

The 50 most recent saved versions of a page, newest first (number, title, author, reason, date).

Files attached to a page (id, name, type, size).

The text of an attached text, Markdown, CSV, JSON or code file (up to 200 KB; longer files are truncated with a notice). Binary files (PDF, Word, images…) return their details only.

Create a new space in the workspace.

Change a space's name, description or icon.

Create a document page from Markdown, at the top of a space or under a parent page or folder.

Create a folder (a container for pages) in a space.

Replace the body of a document page with Markdown, or append Markdown to the end. A version of the old content is saved first when replacing, so it can be restored. On a page that needs its owner's approval, the change is sent to them as a suggestion instead (status "suggested").

Create a whiteboard in a space, optionally drawn with shapes and arrows. Shapes without x/y are laid out automatically along their connections.

Add shapes and arrows to a whiteboard. Arrows can connect new shapes (by id) and shapes already on the board (by their label). New shapes are placed beside what is there unless you give x/y. On a board that needs its owner's approval, this becomes a suggestion (status "suggested").

Draw a Mermaid flowchart ("flowchart TD" / "graph LR": nodes, shapes, arrows, arrow labels) as editable shapes on a whiteboard. mode "append" (default) adds it beside what is there; "replace" clears the board first and saves a version of it. Other Mermaid diagram types are not supported.

Change the title of a page, folder or whiteboard.

Move a page (and everything under it) under another parent in the same space, or to the top level.

Move a page and everything under it to the trash. It can be restored with restore_page.

Bring a page back from the trash.

Comment on a page, or reply to a comment by giving its id as parentId.

Save a named version of a page's current content to its history.
