Whiteboards

Use the + next to a space or page and choose Whiteboard. It sits in the page tree like any page, with a pen icon, and has the same comments, versions and files panel.

The toolbar at the top of the canvas has:

• Rectangles, diamonds, ellipses, arrows, lines and free drawing.
• Text, and labels inside any shape (double-click a shape to type in it).
• Stroke and fill colours, stroke width and style, sloppiness, and layering.
• Hand tool to pan, and zoom with Ctrl and the mouse wheel.

The canvas is infinite. Arrows stay attached to the shapes they connect when you move them. Press ? on the canvas for its own shortcut list.

A whiteboard saves itself shortly after you stop drawing, and before you leave the page. Save a version from the Versions tab to keep a milestone, and restore it later. If the same board was changed in another tab, you are asked to reload instead of overwriting it.

Share a whiteboard's link like any page. To get a picture, use the menu on the canvas to export it as a PNG or SVG image.
